"Great hotel and staff, only let down was the A/C in the rooms. Swapped rooms thinking it was my room but the new room was no better. They upgraded me to a higher floor so I could open the windows which helped a bit but then the noise from the street was a bit much."

The atmosphere and ambiance at the lobby is great. Room was a bit small for my taste. A/C can be improved. Glasses in the room and the bathroom need to be placed on a paper pad, which was not there (?). There was a bird droppings on my window which I asked to be cleaned and I am sure the reception desk made a note, but the maintenance staff did not bother to do it. The location is great, right beside the river, cathedral and many sightseeings. The breakfast was great with good quality. There should be some movie and entertainment channels to be added to the tv. Overall, I would stay again at this hotel. Thanks again to Shadeen for upgrading my room. "

"Service and staff were what differentiated the the Rui Plaza, great checkin and cleaning standard in the room was high. Comfortable beds, Great shower (hot water, good pressure). Really good rate for the standard of hotel. Aircon quiet and effective, Important as windows didn’t open. Breakfast price a bit high and had to hunt for power sockets with none on the desk area. Otherwise a very good stay. "
