"Nice family hotel. Not special in any way but also no complaints. Has everything you need but no extras."

"Unfortunately our prepaid reservation from several months ago was not known the to staff working the reception. Our party had hiked to the this location (all day hike) and was turned away. The hotel did find another available accommodation with a different property in another town and drove our party there - however would have to pay all over again, and none of the amenities important to us. "Our unit was upstairs but I believe there is a unit downstairs as well. Parking was convenient and Zell is situated nicely in the Black Forest. On our first night, we found a restaurant way up the hill along some really skinny, curvy roads that served us some dynamite Jaegerschnitzel with Spaetzle and for dessert, Apfelstrudel. "This is a well kept hotel in a really nice little German town. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Tea and coffee my sking facilities would be an improvement and better sound insulation in the walls, floors and doors eouldmake the hotel much quieter."

"Our room was small, but had an additional sunroom off the side. It was nice to look out at the fog on the mountains. The hotel was up quite a steep hill, however. It might not be good for someone who cannot do that climb. It is very close to a beautiful waterfall."
