"Fab location. Didn’t much like the plastic liners under the sheets which wasn’t pleasant for sleeping on. Breakfast average except for the crepes which were beaut - but not a fruit to be seen and Coffee was terrible. "

It has a well concealed, beautiful courtyard that provides a quiet escape from the visiting tourists. The staff is outgoing and friendly , and extends themselves to your every need. "The facility does not have an elevator. We were told the building is part of the UNESCO site and cannot be retrofitted with an elevator. We were fine with stairs but some people may need to consider this when choosing where to stay. The room was also the smallest of all the places we stayed in Croatia during our 10-day trip. "We have just spent 3 nights at Splendida Palace and what an amazing boutique hotel. It is located up a small quiet road where we were allocated a private parking space. We were greeted by Marija, a very happy and positive person who speaks very good English. She gave us lots of tips on where to visit which were really useful. "The building is a medical centre and hotel. The entrance via a corridor off the main road and is initially off putting. It is a bit away from the main town but bus stops outside. The roads outside are busy and some traffic noise unless windows closed, but good air con makes this ok. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit basic but nicely set out. "Really close to centre less than 5 mins to the Riva. Lovely modern property, clean. Breakfast was OK and to be expected for such a small hotel. Continental with no hot options.
