"The owners were exceptionally polite. The beds were so very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were terrific. We felt very welcome. There was a little language barrier but using translator with them worked perfectly. We wanted to see the real parts of Spain, this was the adventure we wanted. I recommend renting car and travel the differ cities. This hotel is definitely a 10."

The owner greeted us and she gave us a lot of good information and amongst other things good directions for two walking trips with fantastic bathing opportunities in the Gargantas. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. The apartment is above a garage (separate to the rest of the hostel) and below the owners living area. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, with a microwave, oven, hob, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of crockery and pans.
