FDS en la playa

La primera noche dormimos en una pieza, que no era la reservada y por la foto de la reserva tampoco. Para la segunda noche nos cambiaron a la habitación con linda vista al mar, pero el desagrado e incomodidad la pasamos igualmente.

Podría haber sido mejor.

En términos generales nos fue bien. Sin embargo hubo 2 cosas que podrian haberse evitado. La primera la cama de la habitacion sonaba extremadamente mucho. De hecho era "complicado" tener intimidad con la pareja ya que el ruido llegaba a ser un poco escandaloso. Lo otro es que las habitaciones deberian contar con estos enchufes "mata" zancudos, ya que la guerra con ellos fue total en la noche. Resto todo OK; sobre todo el servicio en el desayuno y el personal que atendia, el cual era muy bueno.

No ir al segundo edificio, hotel muy descuidado.

El Hotel tiene 2 edificios, El principal, que está bastante bien, y uno secundario que está bastante mal, asegúrense que no les toque en este segundo edificio, la experiencia es completamente diferente. Las suites están en el edificio principal, las habitaciones ejecutivas están en el segundo edificio, este último no tiene ningún servicio ni personal atendiendo y el acceso a la piscina está a unos 200 metros, hay que ir por un camino paralelo a la carretera principal, por lo que en nuestro caso no podíamos mandar a los niños solos a la piscina. La habitación que nos tocó fue en un subterráneo con vistas a la parte de atrás donde había unas viejas mesas y escombros, muy mal. Yo había estado 2 semanas antes en el hotel y había pedido que me dieran un tipo de habitación pero no tuvieron en cuenta mi pedido y me asignaron una pésima habitación, a pesar que el hotel no se veía lleno, fue imposible hacerles cambiar de idea. El desayuno no está mal, es promedio para este tipo de hoteles. En general el Hotel se siente muy viejo y no muy bien cuidado, excepto la parte de la piscina y comedor que se ve bastante bien. Cuando estaba haciendo el check out había otra persona quejándose por la falta de limpieza... Es una pena que un hotel que fue insignia en la zona hoy día esté tan descuidado. La wifi funciona muy mal, en general no llega a las habitaciones, debes salir al lobby para que funciones, pero aun así se desconecta a cada rato. Ojala lo mejoren o cambien de administración.

Lovely property in a beautiful location. However it is severely let down by lack of management & direction. Staff work hard but do not seem trained and seldom smile. Half of the time nobody speaks english. Annexe is not ideal and our bathroom was small with the tiniest of showers. Evening food was excellent.

Happily stay again

Hotel Isla Seca is a very tranquil place as is Zapallar. The hotel service was very good, comfortable room and lovely staff. Excellent breakfast, whatever you want, if they can do it, they will. Would happily stay again.
