July 2015 Freispitze, Lechtaler Alps View of the Parseier Tal (=valley) canyon from Memminger Huette (2.242 m alt.). In the middle the slope of Freispitze summit (2.884 m) and on the right Saxer Spitze summit (2.690 m). In the middle of summer afternoon clouds bring rain and sun sometimes illuminates the rich green meadows around the hut.
July 2015 View from Schieferscharte, Lechtal Alps This pass is located in ca. 2.600 metres altitude and offers wonderful panoramic views. The peak in the middle is the Oberlahms-Spitze (2.658 m) over the Roettal valley.
July 2015 Lechtaler Alps, Tyrolia, Austria View from Grossberg Kopf (alt. 2.612 m) towards Roettal valley over Madau village. In the middle are the passes Am Nocken (2.032 m) and Streichgampenjoechl (2.221 m). The summits are Hengstspitzen (2.539 to 2.599 m) and Landschaftseck ( 2.610 m). You will go through this valley when trekking from Memminger Huette to Gramais or Madau. It is a typical scenery of Lechtaler Alps with lush green meadows and light grey limestone ranges over them.
