The furnitures so old, rooms need renovation. The hotel is quite far for the city center and located in dead area. The staff members are nice and helpful. In my opinion, this hotel is far to be 4 stars hotel.

Great little hotel

Really great little hotel just out of central Zagreb in a lovely quiet natural park area. We had the suite as it was the last room available. The style is more old/traditional inside but from outside the hotel has a modern almost japanese look. Breakfast buffet was a bit limited choice-wise with very poor and weak coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was out of the main area quiet with woodland surrounding, but in easy reach of all the main attractions, 30 min walk or a short bus ride, stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotless. We found the staff very friendly and helpful especially Roberta on reception and the night reception gentleman. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey for us. would stay here again and would recommend hotel

Unreservedly recommended. Lovely, quiet hotel in the woods. 30 minute walk through woods and park or via road to Old town. Woods walk beautiful but hilly! Restaurant open daily with wonderful seafood. Quite expensive but very convenient and service outstanding. Breakfast is a good, fresh continental one.

This nice, cozy, marble-clad hotel reminds of the old days of the Austrian Empire. Super clean, fully updated hotel is located in the middle of a park, close to downtown and upper middle class area. Great restaurant on-site. Plentiful breakfast. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are clean and nice. I would definitely recommend this great property to any traveler.

The hotel is kind of old, although it appears to be renovated not long ago, some of the equipments didn’t work appropriately, for example, the room temperature control, it only allows AC function not the heating. The carpet seems old and not cleaned for some time. The overall experience was good but for a hotel like this, it could have done more to make it even more awesome.

Woodsy oasis close to city center

This hotel deserves 5 stars in every category: location, staff, food, comfort, room, attention to detail, tranquility. It is just the very best, and I cannot believe I got away with paying so little for so much! The hotel is in a beautiful woodsy location, lovely to look at, and the inside is decorated and designed impeccably, with great attention to every detail. The vases of flowers and chandeliers are beautiful and add another high-end touch. There are several wonderful areas to eat, including an outdoor terrace, a glass-enclosed dining area, the grand dining hall for the breakfast, which was fantastic and, incredibly, included in the already extremely low price (for what you get). My room was a deluxe, and it actually, really, truly was a deluxe room. Often I have booked "deluxe" rooms which did not live up to the name, but this one had a huge bed, a beautiful view onto the foresty landscape, lots of room and a big bathroom with marble and 2 sinks, plus wonderful products. I slept like a baby in the peace and quiet in the bed, which was just the perfect amount of firm. The owner, Zlatko Skelin, was on hand, ensuring everything was up to snuff. He is a very charming and affable man, and even gave me a complimentary glass of champagne. Thank you! The young man at reception, Ivan Tomšić, was so helpful, professional and friendly, as was Ana who helped me in the dining room. I am thrilled with this discovery, thank you!

Excelente hotel a pocos minutos del centro de Zagreb. Personal súper amable. La ubicación al lado de un bosque, se puede caminar al centro a través de senderos, o usar un bus local que para casi en la puerta. Habitación muy espaciosa, baño renovado recientemente.
