The staff were attentive and engaging, taking the time to introduce the dinner menu to us. Chose this place for my children's first ski experience. Just a 30-minute drive to Shiga Kogen where all the ski resorts are. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor onsens. Simply superb for a hot,

"The hotel is hidden up in the hills of Yubanka and is a welcome surprise from the tourist epicenter of Nagano. The hotel has an amazing breakfast and couples can use the onsen on the roof for a price. The monkey bus leaves daily for exploration of the local hills. Great price and quiet. Staff was polite and friendly. Great experience and loud visitors need not apply. "
