"Other than the tired, dated decor, this hotel was excellent. Our room was a 2 room suite with a nice size balcony with Mountain View. There are several pools and hot tubs, both inside and out, which was nice after hiking all day. On site restaurant served delicious food and had amazing views of cascades. Closest hotel to Yosemite."

"The location is off the beaten path, but for good reason. Its such a beautiful place and location. The cabin I stayed in was nice and quaint, nothing fancy but perfect for a three day stay. They had a small restaurant with bar and a small gift shop that had fresh coffee and snacks for your hike. Overall I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want to get away from the city and spend some time closer to nature. I will be back for sure, but for a longer stay😊"

"House is like a museum with artifacts of old western themed items and pictures (i.e. Hop Along Cassidy, Lone Ranger, etc). Great deck, very comfortable inside, all the amenities you may think of, or need."

"Gorgeous location. Excellent food. Comfy beds. Sturdy but soft pillows. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. The grounds are soooo beautiful. Like it’s been built right into the surrounding nature. Quiet. The food was delish. Bar at the Tavern is so fun. The staff are incredibly sweet. And knowledgeable about everything. Only negative: we called twice for them to come clean our room, even though we had declined room service earlier. They said we could call if we wanted it at any time. But no one ever showed. "

"This was a nice place close to Yosemite. The deck out front was nice to enjoy the evening.It is not fancy but had a huge bathroom, the beds were comfortble and it was clean. I would stay there again"

"Second stay this time at the cottages only issue indoor pool being renovated so out of use. The complex is getting a renovation across all rooms so some were out of action but nearly done. "

"We had an issue with finding lots of giant winged ants crawling on the carpet and a couple black beetles as well. Especially when we turned heater on they would appear out of nowhere near the vents making me think they came from the vents. Needs an exterminator visit to spray around the house. It didn’t ruin our stay though! We just killed them when we would see them with paper towels and we only saw them in the day not at night which isn’t a huge issue since we were mostly out on hikes. Also this place has DVDs, Board games such as Jenga and Monopoly, and some books. The Board games were a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed some Jenga but I recommend bringing some of own board games or card games to add a little more diversity. View from the Balcony in the morning is really relaxing for sipping on a morning coffee and letting your brain rest. Good bathtub and shower but bring own shampoo and body wash as we noticed there was only hand soap in the bathroom. Overall very pleasant place to stay in. Very quiet neighborhood which made it easy to sleep in but I recommend bringing a sleep mask to help with that as it gets a little sunny through the windows in the morning. Didn’t see any bears the whole time here so that’s a relief. Just Squirrels, woodpeckers, Blue Jays, chipmunks and little critters. Very relaxing stay."
