"We booked a two day stay at the Hampton Inn in beautiful Kittery, ME. We chose the Hampton Inn because of its name and reputation as a fine chain. We discovered that it was pet- friendly, which is fine, but also discovered that pets are not limited to certain floors ( i.e. ground floor or first floor only) but are allowed throughout the entire facility. "Hotel is no frills and serves its main purpose. Our check-in experience was ok, room was clean, a/c worked and our bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to supermarket. The front desk needs staff present at all times. Although there is a bell to ring for someone, upon check-in hours and later in evening, and following morning, no one is at the FRONT. Always have to ring bell and eventually someone appears. Neon paper signs taped up in lobby area is a bit tacky. Breakfast is very...

"This place was great. The pool was so perfect. Loved the location. It’s not walkable to downtown for us with kids- but we loved how quiet it was. Our kids loved it as well. The staff was so amazing and friendly. Breakfast great as well"
