"Had an excellent 3 night stay. The staff are very courteous and make you feel welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and the beach were excellent. There was a large variety of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. We really enjoyed our stay there."

"Overall, Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E made for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would recommend it, particularly for solo travelers. The neighborhood felt safe and navigable, which as a solo traveler matters more than anything else. The room was a highlight, super spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the city from above. Waking up to that view every morning was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was decent nothing extraordinary, but a perfectly fine way to start the day. It's also worth noting that there are several restaurants within walking distance, which is a convenient bonus. Now for the honest part: the location comes with some challenges. The area is heavily trafficked, and for reasons I still can't fully explain drivers have a genuinely difficult time finding the hotel. Whether you're arriving by taxi or rideshare, budget extra time and be prepared to guide your driver. The roads in the immediate area are also not the most pedestrian or driver friendly, so keep that in mind when planning your daily movements. With a little patience on the logistics, it's a comfortable and safe base for exploring Dakar. I'd recommend."

"Après lu quelques commentaires négatifs à propos de cet hôtel, j'avais quelques appréhensions .Or, je fus agréablement surpris par la propreté et la spaciosité de la chambre. Je bénéficias également d'un énorme balcon avec vue sur la ville. En bonus, je suis arrivé tôt le matin et j'ai eu droit à ma chambre immédiatement. Seuls quelques pépins de plomberie et le fait que la télé fonctionnait plus ou moins expliquernt pourquoi je ne mets pas un 5 sur 5. J'oubliais l'hôtel est également très bien situé : à la fois près des gares de train et maritime et de différents marchés et restaurants."

"Great staff and a good breakfast buffet. Hotel is in a rough looking neighborhood but I walked all over without issue and saw other foreigners doing the same. Plenty of food options and easy access to the cultural sites. The fitness center isn't much so don't factor that into your decision to pick this place. Hotel is great if you are looking for a location to explore on foot with plenty of budget dining options."
