It was further from the beach than expected. One must take a quad to get up to this place with luggage. The place was very clean and quaint. It is fairly central which was nice. Very tasty food at some of the restaurants.

We loved our stay at Casa Palmita! Beautiful, clean home, with plenty of space and the sweetest community to help you find the house. Just a few minutes walk from the beach, Cafe Bahia (which we highly recommend for breakfast) and a little grocery/convenience store for drinks, snacks, etc.

The house on the hill

The house is at the top of a hill. Clean and comfortable beds. There is an apartment above, so it is easy to hear movements and doors. On top of that is a deck with chairs and a table where you can watch whales. You also have a view over the beach. People are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants have great food. Be prepared to do a lot of walking.

Lovely Traditional Mexican Decor

The unit was what we expected and signed up for. Host instructions were very thorough and it was easy to get into. Its located up a hill so if you dont want to carry bags you employ a wheel barrow or ATV taxi. Everything is close with wonderful restaurants and helpful friendly locals. It wouldn't be a kitchen I prefer to cook in as there are no condiments etc to use and the pots and pans are scratched up. The unit is decorated as the photos show but it is darker than it appears in the photos.

This place is fantastic! The home is very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is close to everything - the directions getting there are a little confusing but there are many helpful locals to point the way. The house name is Casa Palmito if you need to ask someone! Highly recommend this place and the taco restaurant near by called Taco y Mas

nice house

very clean comfortable house. Air conditioners worked perfectly. Bathrooms were clean and functional. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Just make sure you bring cash with you. We had a very nice stay .

Nice place; convenient location

This was our first time in Yelapa. We came to visit our daughter. The house was very nice. There was a small supply of coffees and granola bars, which was much appreciated…and the water bottle was full (another plus). The location near the town was a bonus as well. The house was clean and well appointed with beautiful tiled bathrooms and a nice dining table. The kitchen has the basic necessities as well. We came away feeling that we had made a good choice.

Casa bonito wias a beautiful home in a great location. However, several things were missing that would help a guest determine whether or not to stay here. The hot water barely works. When I reached out to the property manager, she said this is normal and that they were considering replacing the boiler. We had about four hot showers between both of us in the week that we stayed here and the hot water didn’t last the entire shower The other thing was that there is construction work going on to build the third floor. There is loud noise from about 8 AM to 6:30 PM during the week. And most importantly, we were not given the name of the house, so we were taken to several locations before the person helping us with all of our luggage finally found the place. there were also no house rules or instruction on what to do about things like emptying the trash, or replacing the 5 gallon water jug and there were no cleaning supplies at all in the home. Besides these issues it was a very beautiful home and looks exactly as pictured in the listing.

Yalapa Xmas stay

Loved our stay here. Accommodations were cozy, safe and convenient. Right in the middle of beach and town. East access to all the great restaurants and culture of Yalapa and close to beach access as well. We will be back! Thank you. Zack

The house was very nice and clean. It was close to the beach and beautifully located. However, it did not have an ocean view and had buildings around it, so did not feel private as others could see and hear you. The doors were very noisy and did not close. Also, we could hear the neighbors on top. Not as quiet as we were looking for with a little baby.

Lovely Visit to Yelapa

This was our first trip to Yelapa, and we loved it! The house is new with modern amenities (2nd story / additional unit still under construction). It is situated on top of a hill—down one way to the heart of town and the other way to the beach, which is only a few minutes walk. Four of our family members slept comfortably here, and then we rented a room in town for the other 2. Yelapa can be noisy at night (quads, roosters, construction), so bring earplugs or plan on playing some sort of white noise to get good sleep. Yelapa is a friendly and vibrant town. Garcia rentals was great to work with—we would definitely rent from them again!
