"This was our second stay at this quiet, modern, tastefully decorated apartment. The friendly hosts respected our privacy, and every detail made for a very comfortable visit. It's in a great location near the coastline and Ilkua's shopping, bar/restaurants, and buses nearby. Highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyed our stays."
"We loved the room and outlook. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and bathroom facilities excellent. Spacious enough for the grandies to visit! The welcome gift for my birthday was lovely.
What could be improved (in our opinion) -
the airconditioning control was confusing and not as warm as we would have liked.
lack of a central light in the bed/ sitting area.
power points for our bedside CPAP machines were behind the bed. We didn't discover this until checkout and had to use an extension cord from the little kitchenette.
more black tea varieties would be appreciated - eg earl grey and a strong breakfast tea.
bowls and spoons so we could organise simple breakfasts like cereal. We found the Union Kitchen unsatisfactory and the coffee was cold and bitter.
a microwave would also be useful for hot snacks or reheating takeaways.

"We are 5 women who catchup 2 or 3 times a year. Moore River was one of the locations we often visited. The house and grounds were lovely and suited us perfectly. Great location! Everything was well laid out, clean and all we needed was available. "
Cosy granny flat only 2 minute walk to beach with off street parking

"A wonderful stay! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Burns beach in this beautifully presented granny flat. The accommodation had everything you needed to make it feel like ‘home from home’. We cooked most evenings and the kitchen had everything required. The living area was cozy and comfortable, with access to Netflix for the occasional movie night. Plus the ability to control the air conditioning and heating which was perfect for those cooler nights. The accommodation had a washing machine which enabled us to keep on top of all our laundry. Our hosts Monica and Mark were wonderful, with thoughtful touches during our stay, such as fresh eggs and coffee. We felt very independent during our time here but knew that Monica and Mark were only a text away if we needed them. The location was perfect for us. A short stroll to the ‘Sistas cafe’ with beautiful coastal walks on the doorstep. There was space to park our car right outside the accommodation and local amenities were close by, such as supermarkets and eateries. We stayed for a month and would most certainly stay again!"
