"Magnificent experience. Great resort - location, grounds, great room with views, fantastic snorkeling, awesome Lovo night, kava ceremony, farm walk, lots of ceremonial singing, restaurant serves great food though a little pricey. Val & her husband who own this island have established a very special magical place. The staff are amazing here, we felt very much part of the family than a passing tourist. I miss them all dearly. "

"Beautiful location and wonderful food, incredibly friendly people with amazing service. Highly recommend this resort and the area, especially for snorkeling and scuba diving. There are TONS of places to do both around there. There is some minor construction going on right now at the beach during low tides, but it didn't impact us that much...definitely one of our favorite places in the Yasawas Islands."

"The perfect 'real Fiji' experience off the grid. Not for everyone as there's no airconditioning, running hot water or pools but that's the charm and attraction here. Bill and Paula looked after us wonderfully. Our two small boys were played with and looked after by other local children, the villages were very friendly. Paula also arranged a surprise birthday cake for my oldest son! No other tourists spotted, no-one trying to sell you things or get you to drink kava and no shops. Perfect spot. AAA+"

"Great location for relaxing and access to good snorkelling. Friendly welcome with family feel vibe from the helpful staff. Good flexibility around activities on offer. Lovely room presentation on arrival. Nice food and good value for money. Good discount on return travel to the mainland via the 'Seabus'. The only weak aspect was our shower leaked hot water so the shower wasn't running as warm as it should."
