"Very clean rooms and laundry located on the lobby floor. Location is perfect. If you are sensitive to smoke, skip using the stairs between guest floors and lobby as people smoke in the stairs. Still, would definitely stay again as this is my second time staying with FX Hotel. "

"Wonderful place to stay. Right off the bat, we loved the eclectic but comfortable decor in both the lobby and our room. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious, with plenty of amenities available. Poky was a great host, very communicative, and immediately had a ton of great recommendations for us when he learned we didn't really have any set plans upon our arrival. If you ever need to refresh your memory on his sightseeing suggestions, he has them helpfully documented in binders in the lobby. We went to several tourist locations and coffee shops from his list, and they were all hits. It was also great to chat a little with him as we were enjoying the provided breakfast. (Along with the coffee/tea drinks he prepared for us!) Now we wish we'd been able to stay a little longer! If we go back to Tainan again, we'd definitely love to stay at Chez Poky again. "

"Very old and smelly And 6am you can hear ppl preparing meal. Anyway this is not Shangri-La. Can’t think or expect like 5stars Smelly room. Noisy, fix the aircon; pls haha aircon noise I use ear plugs. Anyway I will not visit again so fix or whatever. We went to gym and than came back the room door was opened. Abit extreme hahaha Hahaha…. Sigh Also poor communication "
