Good location in a nicely redone old building, has cooked breakfast that changes, at least was different for both days we were there. There’s rain type shower and they provide shampoo and body wash. Unfortunately the aircon in the twin room didn’t work and that’s a room with no windows... and one of the showers fills with water as the drainage isn’t great so make sure to move the waste bin to higher ground before showering. But well, I personally felt comfortable as I sleep cold and well hostel showers heh..hence the decent rating.
A wonderfully darling place. The women's room was comfortable and the seating area on the first level was a nice place to talk or read. Breakfast was served each morning with a good variety, and the restrooms and shower rooms were on the main floor and kept clean. The only minor problem was mosquitos in the main room (due to their charming windows that were open during the day), but I would highly recommend this place! I have been to Myanmar six or seven times, and this one is one I will stay in again!
This was my second stay here for 2 nights after my return from Mandalay. My first stay was good, thats why I returned. This time I gave a median score for "comfort" because of a bad experience. On the second night a group of maybe 2 or 3 inconsiderate Korean girls were talking or arguing loudly from about 11pm to 2.30am in their private room, which is one floor directly below the men's dorm. There is hardly any soundproofing, flooring is wood panels. It was that loud it kept everyone in the men's dorm up. The management should remind or enforce a policy of quiet hours for the benefit of all travellers.
Everything else was perfect except for this incident.
For the price & the included breakfast which was quite good, they are hard to beat.Staff are friendly & helpful. No major complaints really, except that they have only small lockers. And they can certainly improve by having more hooks for hanging clothes in the dorms.
Property was nice and clean. Except we were out that night and returned after midnight and got locked out and we were yelling up the stairs to get the guy to let us in and we had to open the locked gate by using an umbrella and when we walked up the stairs there was a staff member that was awake at the desk that totally ignored us yelling asking for help to get let in... We spent about 30 minutes and literally had to break in just to get to our room that we had already paid for
Dislike the receptionist man with eyeglasses, given the hot water refill ONLY you are sick, and the check in procedure are so stupid .... And never see him smile for whole trip
Beside that, other are fair enough!
Room are comfortable, but the housekeeper didn't wipe the floor for three days 2 nights.
Water pressure for shower and breakfast are good.
But need more works on cleaning on common area.

Liked: Staff & service
When I arrived I was immediately disappointed. There were loads of flies / bugs in the stairwell entrance. Upstairs did not seem so bad with bugs. They were renovating the very communal bathroom / shower which was on a different floor to my dorm room. I can’t comment further as I immediately switched accommodations. I’m not sure it’s the best part of town. I advise doing your research. I will say some other travelers did seem content there.
Excellent place with charm, really kind and helpful staff. Super nice bathroom and toilets with bidet. High pressure shower, I enjoyed getting refreshed every time. I highly recommend this place.
