The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. "We booked a one night stay for our short trip to Nara. I wish I knew how beautiful this hotel was, I would’ve stayed one more night. The room is well decorated, simple and elegant. It has a sound system that connected to a iPod with music, but I plugged it into my iPhone (lightning port) to play nature music off YouTube. It was rare to find such a spacious room in Japan. The view from the window was everything you’d imagine of Nara: a small pond with deer hanging out on the side. I could stay in this room and relax all day. I would not think twice to book this hotel again when I return to Nara."
