Western style breakfast was delicious and not too heavy. Took chef’s advice to take evening walk to see Miyajima at night and it was perfect to see the torii gate and shrine at night without the crowds. "The property is clean and the space is large. The only bad thing about this place is the check-in procedures. Since there is no staff in the building, your only way to access is by the email sent by the property owner. The email arrive at 6pm on the day I check-in, after I reach out many time and through email, their offical website and Expedia. Take your risk when consider this place. "

"The bed is not very clean"

"This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. "

"We absolutely loved Hiroshimanoyado Aioi. It was one of our favourite stays of our holiday in Japan. The traditional features of the hotel added to the cultural experience of our holiday. The hotel staff were the friendliest and most helpful of all the hotels we stayed in. The ambience of the hotel and the staff were entirely charming. The location right next to the Peace Gardens was beautiful, tranquil and convenient. We would not hesitate to book this hotel next time we visit Japan."

"Very spacious, lovely modern decor, so you get both a lovely 5 star stay but being able to enjoy the old town once you step out. Staff are friendly, able to tell you what are open for the night on a map (as it was a public holiday when we went). The breakfast is also worth it (just 1000yen pp?), not the type with luxurious ingredients but it was all nicely laid out and a very comfy cafe which you can easily spend half a morning there."
