"The property is clean and the space is large. The only bad thing about this place is the check-in procedures. Since there is no staff in the building, your only way to access is by the email sent by the property owner. The email arrive at 6pm on the day I check-in, after I reach out many time and through email, their offical website and Expedia. Take your risk when consider this place. "

"What a gem! The owner and her staff are kind, happy, knowledgeable and helpful. The sleeping area was quiet, everyone was respectful and the common area was a great place to hang in the evening when you are worn out from exploring. I wish i could give more stars. Ladies area had all the mod cons, dryers, straighteners, face cleaning wipes, a makeup table... great sleeping pods with fans and adjustable lighting and plenty of outlets. But it was really the staff and owner that made this a home...

"Quite a distance from the ferry terminal, be prepared to walk about 15 minutes. Not recommended to have a luggage with you. On the flip side, area is nice and quiet with minimal footfall. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Shower and bath facility is shared, but the door can be locked when in use."

"This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hiroshimanoyado Aioi. The traditional room was spacious, and the comfortable futons made for a restful night's sleep. The serene atmosphere and authentic Japanese experience made it one of our favorite places during our travels all around Japan. Highly recommend! Location is also spot on! "
