"Quiet little Inn at the top of the town. Easy to access the Mt Wakakusa walk and about a 30 minute walk into the towns centre! We loved seeing the deer right outside our window."

"I would mot recommend this accommodation. The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. It could be a nice place to stay if the host improves it, but as it is, it is definitely not worth the price! "

"We stayed for two nights in one of the traditional rooms with kaiseki and it was one of the best experiences we have had anywhere in the world. The food was amazing and the staff were very polite and professional. Walking through the park from the front door or into town is also great! The private baths were super relaxing. I also recommend having the staff order you a massage and you will not be disappointed!"

"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "

"Quietly sitting away from the hustle of sightseeing center around Nara Park, this is a new, relaxing and more luxurious property in this city increasingly popular with international travelers. The room was spacious enough for property in Japan and spa was nice. The front restaurant was filled in the morning for breakfast, and we ate breakfast in the bar area next to the restaurant. The staff means well but requires more training to bring the service to 4 or 5 star level. "
