"Nothing beats being right next to the Shinkansen station—it made my entire stay super smooth. I could sleep in, book trains easily, and never had to deal with lines at other JR offices or stations. The reception area is spacious and welcoming, with vending machines, water, and amenities. The room had a nice, clear view and, best of all, it was incredibly quiet—I didn’t hear a single train the whole time. Perfect for a restful and hassle-free stopover."

"The room is a little dated but otherwise super clean and spacious. Another disappointment is thst the hotel only have shower in the onsen which many guests may like the experience but better if the hotel can consider shower room for people who wants privacy. Anyway, still I would recommend this hotel."

"Hotel was clean, beds are hard. Nothing around food wise, but they let us know before arriving via message which was great. English was on the display along with Japanese for any travelers. We came via car, parking was good. "

"Property was in good repair. Food staff were helpful when i didnt know enough japanese to do it properly. Walking around the city there is a fish smell, due to being a fishing village. Not much in the way of public transport. "

"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"This was a gorgeous place to be in the middle of Winter. The hotel is amazing and the surrounding nature and lake are breathtaking. Ee had a few things planned for the visit, but preferred just to stay in the hotel/resort"
