Ocean Front Log Home on a Sandy Beach, Private! Dog Friendly!

Take a walk on the beach in the moonlight, even better, during a rare blue moon! The Blue Moon Beach house allows you to indulge in a unique mix of mid-century modern décor snuggled inside a rustic log home! With stunning views of the rolling waves and ever changing sky, this cozy home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family retreat. Situated on an oceanfront lot with easy beach access, you will be tempted to enjoy long strolls on miles of sandy beach.

This three bedroom, two bath home has a spacious living/dining room where you can enjoy a family gathering. The large loft, with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, has a sitting area for watching television, a table to sit and play games, and a fantastic view of the ocean to watch for whales. The multi game table will keep you entertained as you choose between playing pool, ping pong, or air hockey.

A grassy space next to the house gives you plenty of room to set up outside games or picnic in the grass. The path to the beach is a very short walk through the shore pines where you will find a sandy beach for building sand castles and searching for shells and agates! This home is perfectly located on the central Oregon coast where you can explore all the fabulous parks, forest trails, and beaches.

Sleeps 6: 2 Kings (both can be split in to two twins with 72 hours prior notice), 1 Queen, 1 Sleeper Sofa; 2 Baths.
Vehicles: Licensed for 4 (Strictly enforced- No street parking allowed)
Winter: 2 night minimum Standard & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.
*Each home is individually owned. Amenities and furnishings are subject to change at any time. Please contact our office with any questions.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Walking for miles on the big beautiful beach right out of the yard. Fabulous! The property was rustic, clean, spacious and comfortable. The only negative was the back bedrooms were quite dark. We all had difficulty seeing our cloths etc.

The home was perfect for days when we felt like relaxing by the beach. It was also conveniently located for visiting all the sights we wanted to see. The home was clean and the showers had great water pressure. It ended up being a perfect beach home for my family vacation!

In summary, three of us and our two dogs enjoyed a remarkable three days on the beach in Yachats. The drought gave us picture perfect weather and the beach was pristine except for the litter of crab shells churned up by the restless surf.

We went on a family vacation on the Oregon Coast and this property was the perfect home base! Wonderful beach, views and hot tub - the game room was a plus to keep the kids happy! The beds and bedding was so comfy and we all slept great. The only thing missing was a dishwasher. We had a FABULOUS vacation, would book again!!

We completely enjoyed our stay!! The cabin has two neighboring properties, yet feels private (including a private path to the beach). The local management company was exceptionally easy to contact and work with! The pictures should be updated as there is more seating now in both living areas. Plenty of room for our family of six. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome place on the beach with great views. Loved our stay there and would definitely stay again. The check in process was a bit murky. The email stated we had to meet with the managment team but they didn't really require it. We did have an issue while there and the main office was very helpful in checking it out.

We were very happy with the home. Very clean, comfortable and right on the beach. We did have a little delay getting into the property as the wifi coded keypad was not cooperating. The property manager was very helpful and personally came out and got it corrected. We were extremely happy with our rental. Only drawback was the hot tub was not working.

We needed a peaceful beautiful place for a relaxing family vacation… this was perfect! With a gorgeous view of the ocean, comfortable living spaces, well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of games and puzzles for entertainment… we loved our stay!! We spent many hours on the beach… walking, playing with our dogs, and flying kites… very private and quiet. Yachats is a quaint, small town… We found incredible fresh seafood to prepare at home, a delicious bakery, and cute coffee shop. We especially appreciated the small pool table/ping pong upstairs… hours of fun! The hot tub was a nice touch as well!! We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The house was immaculately clean and had such a fun, modern cabin vibe. Our kids loved the game room and had nightly air hockey and pool tournaments. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking utensil we needed. We had trouble with the lock box when we arrived, but someone was there within minutes of our call to help us. Yachats is a great little town and we couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect place to spend the week!
