"On our tour of Sicily, we made a one day alteration to our itinerary to meet up with my wife's cousin and his wife for the 2023 Cous cous festival at San Vito lo Capo. Making this change at the last minute, we were fortunate to come upon this wonderful property. Located a few blocks from the beach, it is ideally situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with the town of San Vito at your doorstep. "The hotel Al-Taïr Via Duca Degli Abruzzi 83 San Vito LoCapo is a hotel I would recommend. Very clean and owner available every day if you wished information or help. Less than a five minute walk to the beach. My only negative point was the breakfast buffet was the same every day. Air conditioning worked and tv had Sky available as well as terrestrial stations."

"This is a little boutique hotel that is very sweet! It seemed a little strange that the check-in was a few buildings down the street. That's also where breakfast was served. The accompanying restaurant was across the street built on decking over the water. The food served at this restaurant was first class! We spent three nights there and I would not hesitate to return there!"

"We received a warm welcome after a long drive to San Vito. I couldn’t speak any more highly of the staff, who were wonderful and always going that extra mile. Room was decent, and cleaned well every day with new towels. Wifi good. Breakfast was okay but all you really need is a cappuccino and a cornetto anyways. Roof terrance really great feature! Recommend :)"

"Our stay was very good. The owners are very helpful and nice. Breakfast was simple but what we needed. We stayed in the apartment with kitchen well equipped just missing a kettle, dining room extra bedroom with beds. Also your own little roof terrace which you could look over the street below down to the sea and up to the village. Ideally positioned in the heart of the village, nice harbour and marina, plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. Lovely village to stay for a short time. "
