"I've stayed in villas every holiday and have travelled to Malta and Gozo many times. Advertised as a 'cosy/quaint cottage' is mis-leading, as are the photographs that are meant to represent the accommodation. On arrival, the house was dirty, with cobwebs and a layer of dust/grime in the kitchen on the appliances and the oven was not clean. "Relaxing One-Night Stay We stayed at Xemxija Bay Hotel for one night and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely pool view, which made it feel even more relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The hotel is in a peaceful area but still close to local restaurants and scenic walks. A great spot for a short getaway—would happily return!"
