Vienna House by Wyndham Andel's Berlin
10/10 Excellent
"great!"
Hotel Berlin, Berlin, a member of Radisson Individuals
8/10 Good
"The check-in process was ok as we had the opportunity to do most of it in advance. We had a problem getting extra keycards at the check-in point but this was quickly resolved at the guest help desk. The room was spacious, really comfortable bed, very quiet. Good coffee machine and decent small fridge. Great shower and plenty of clean towels. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that; similarly we didn’t eat in the restaurant. The bar was nice with friendly staff, and the onsite 24h self service shop was very handy, especially as we arrived late at night. The location was perfect for us with buses just outside, and the U1/U2/U3/U4 just 5 minutes walk away at Nollendorfplatz. It’s 10-15 minutes walk from the zoo. You can walk through the Tiergarten to Brandenburg Gate in 20-30 minutes. There’s a Netto around the corner for stocking up the fridge and getting breakfast items/snacks. Some small negatives: Big TV with soundbar, but, WiFi was poor and extremely unstable. There was no ability to connect to the TV via HDMI or airplay which is pretty poor for a 4 star hotel. Almost all the channels were German so not much use holidaying from abroad with limited German. Weirdly, with 3 of us in the room there were only 2 cups and 2 glasses. Although the beds were really comfortable, the pillows were awful, but we were so tired from all the sightseeing, it didn’t really matter!"

"Excellent location, attentive and friendly staff, superb housekeeping, a good spa, pool and gym and a sumptuous breakfast layout make it a place to remember and come for more."
Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt
10/10 Excellent
"This property is just about a 2-minute walk from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, which is very convenient for anyone traveling by train. There are car rental desks in the lower level of the station, which was convenient as well, since we rented a car and spent a few days sightseeing. We chose to manage our car rental so as not to have to pay for parking. Many of historic buildings such as the Reichsstag and Brandenburg Gate are about a 20-minute walk away. The hotel is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Our room was also clean and well-maintained. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not take advantage of the breakfast or the fitness area. We would gladly stay at this property if we passed through again."
Hampton By Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz

"Great location close to the Tram and metro. Wonderful staff and breakfast. Rooms are little smaller than expected but we were out all day ak hardly spent anytime in the room."
Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin

"Good hotel in a great central location. Bit dated, needs a bit of TLC, but all the essentials are there, and comfortable. Great staff and lovely welcome"
GINN City & Lounge Yorck Berlin
10/10 Excellent
"Had a lovely four night stay in Berlin at the Ginn Hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. Room was comfortable with plenty of convenient amenities. Location is ideal - three metro stops from Brandenburg Gate. Thoroughly recommended and will stay here again."

"The Hotel The hotel is set in a lovely spot — quiet and peaceful, yet with plenty of restaurants close by and the main tourist spots within easy reach. The Room This hotel has thought about the basics of sleep in a way many hotels simply don't. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the pillows — wow — they're amazing. What a lot of hotels get wrong is the air con, but here it's whisper-quiet — no tapping, banging, or buzzing in sight, which makes for a genuinely cool night's sleep. The blackout curtains cross over each other (genius — it's the small things that matter), and even the door to the stairwell cuts out the noise from downstairs. All those little details add up to a 100% perfect night's sleep. I'll miss that. The Bathroom That shower — OMG. It's one powerful shower, an absolute dream after a long day of walking. Could do with a touch more room if I'm being picky, but I loved it. One small note: the fridge isn't really a fridge — more of a box with lights and no function whatsoever. When the hotel did get something wrong, they put it right, and I'm grateful for that. The bakery is a beauty — the almond croissant is an absolute must. The Staff Friendly, kind, always with a smile — this is what makes a hotel, and they got it right every single day."
