Despite being 1153 am. How long does it take to open luggage store room opposite? Result 5 hours of suitcase lugging. Studio room was ok for 1..but couples might need bigger room."

The only thing that let it down was the restaurant, not much selection on the menu and the chef was vaping in the kitchen on the evening we arrived which we found off putting! Breakfast was disappointing, no clean tables and the staff made no attempt to clean one for us so my daughter cleaned a table! Very little selection of food left! We did arrive towards the end of breakfast 8.30ish, but even so there was no welcome or offer of tea & coffee...

"First of all, the room was not clean, the bed also wasn't clean. There was hair on the sheets and the pillow, which shows that they weren't washed for some time. The room didn't have any shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer and we had to ask for those. No shutters in the room and the curtains wouldn't close completely so you can have a complete darkness (or even partial) in the room. On the other hands the owners / management were very welcoming and helpful when we asked for the amenities."

We booked the Iris room on the second floor, which happened to have a beautiful terrace attached to it, making the evenings and morning even more enjoyable. "We had a lovely long weekend in Lille and were amazed at its beauty and outstanding architecture. The people we met were so friendly and helpful and nothing appeared too much problem for them a few even taking us to where we wanted to go, We will certainly return. The accomadation was extremely clean and well thought out providing everything that was needed for the weekend, it was also in a really good position in the old part of Lille and central to everything which was all in walking...
