"The hosts were very helpful. I've never stayed anywhere with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and a disposable razor in the bathroom. The location was a 10 minute walk out of town, but there was a chippy nearby. Rather than eat my takeaway in my room I was invited to use the dining area and supplied with cutlery. The breakfast was good as well."

"Excellent experience, host Sue and Tony, couldn't do enough for you, really nice couple. Room we stayed in was a double with ensuite facilities, very clean and comfortable. Stayed 3 nights, price included breakfast and parking permit. Breakfast was excellent, all sorts, cereal, cooked breakfast, continental, etc. Easy walking distance to beach and shops. I would definitely recommend staying here."

Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. "I spent 3 nights and overall had an enjoyable stay. The room was a good size, very clean, and the bed very comfy. Only slight disappointment was that the advertised fridge was not in the room; I was expecting this to keep drinks cold and for packed lunches. Check in was done online and very easy. Whilst this was quick and efficient it meant the personal touch was lacking and I did not see anyone else during my stay. "This is a lovely property on the edge of the Broads. It was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was very helpful. There is easy access to Norwich and the coast, and some lovely walks into the Broads from the doorstep. There isn't a shop in the village, but Acle is less than 10 minutes drive and has a small supermarket, pubs and takeaways. The big supermarkets in Great Yarmouth are only 15 minutes away."

Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning.
