"We were totally blown away by for us a perfect cottage. It was spacious & well equipped. No local facilities but major town of Bideford was 6 min drive away. Yes you could find small bits of wear & tear but nothing took away the complete feeling of total relaxation. Yes we would & will book again."

"Such a lovely place to stay. Down a country lane and nothing around. The cottage itself is beautiful. Comfy snd beautiful surroundings. You get there and just breath. Get away from the hustle and bustle of town life. The attention to detail from the lovely owners is great. You have Lynton and Lynmouth and Ilfracombe about 45 minutes away. Easy to get to and worth it. You have South Molton and barnstaple closer. Barnstaple is nice for shopping."

"A beautiful property in an idealic village. All the essential appliances, good quality furniture and very well maintained. The Bell public house offers good food and a great atmosphere and only a short walk across the square. We would highly recommend a stay. "

"Very good holiday, everything regarding the cottage was perfect, clean and well presented. Conveniently placed for visiting places in Hartland and North Devon. Stay could not have been better."

"We've just returned from a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful. The children loved the games room, tree house, trampoline and hot tub. Nathan and Helen went above and behond to make us all feel welcome. We fell in love with the beautiful area and views. Highly recommend, we loved every minute and will be back. "We had a wonderful stay following a super warm welcome. The staff members are amazing. The only feedback I would share would be to consider telling guests that there are steep steps and steep slopes to the accommodation and giving people the option to book lower floor properties. The swimming pool wasn’t very warm but was a nice extra. The property smelled really badly when we arrived so we had to buy air fresheners to extinguish the smells. The toilet roll and kitchen roll is very poor quality, so take your own. There was no restaurant onsite and the accommodation was very rural, it’s a real shame as this could have made such a difference. The bar area could have been made more cosy, they’ve tried to balance family games with a bar atmosphere and it didn’t feel quite right. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming and made such a difference. The little shop onsite was very welcome and appreciated. "
