From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and inviting, with a lovely balance of modern comfort and traditional charm. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and surprisingly spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities, quality toiletries, and fast, free Wi-Fi. One of the standout features is the pub and restaurant on-site. The food was absolutely delicious—generous portions, well-cooked, and served promptly by friendly staff. The views of the canal just outside added a really peaceful touch to the dining experience. Location-wise, the Boat and Horses is perfectly situated for exploring both Oldham and nearby Manchester, with great transport links and a quiet setting that’s ideal for unwinding after a busy day. "Stayed on a sunday so the hotel was pretty quiet. Room 303 was a twin i asked for. Was lovely. Had air con. Nice bath with really hot water..beds were comfy too. The pool and spa was great and it was included in the price. Steam room, sauna, ice room, big jacuzzi that opens up outside. We didn't eat at the hotel so not sure on the food but the hotel itself is great x"
