"The hotels location was great for us as it was in a lovely area and on the bus route to phantasialand. However of a night the restaurant food options were not very good. A lot of restaurants were closed mid week within the area. We stayed for 3 nights and not once in this time did the room get cleaned or towels refreshed. We had to go to reception each night asking for fresh towels. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was lovely with something for everyone. The rooms are...

"Conveniently located at walking distance from the STR (tram) station Mohnweg, about 25 min ride from the Deutz/Messe Cologne train station. The room was not luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Shower water heats up right away. You need adapters if you come from the US. There is no outlet near the desk. My room was facing the main street, which is very busy. I would ask for a back-facing room unless traffic lulls you to sleep (the window seals the noise out). Breakfast was excellent. Nice...

"I was unable to use my room on the afternoon of 6 July due to loud drilling in the corridor and in neighbouring rooms. This drilling started again at 0900 on the morning of 7 July. How can you offer rooms next to building work, its totally unacceptable"
