Spend pleasant hours on the balconies, one of which is on the south side with a view of the water and the jetty with bathing ladder. The other is on the north side, with shade and evening sun and a beautiful view of meadows and the Workumerwaard nature reserve and the final dyke further away, from where you can watch birds.



Stroll to the IJsselmeer beach, which is ideal for small children due to the shallow water. Hire a boat and sail from the jetty onto the IJsselmeer without a bridge or lock, Hindeloopen is just around the corner. Visit beautiful, authentic Frisian towns such as Bolsward, Harlingen, Leeuwarden and Sneek. Texel is ideal for a day trip.



Note: The living room is on the first floor and there is a staircase that can be considered steep.
