"The Valley lodge is Excellent in respect of amenities, safety, restaurants, the staff at the restaurants and lodge are helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. The host was attentive to our needs and request all the time. She really deserves 5 stars ✨. The Valley lodge really lives up to its name."

"The townhouse was nice and well-maintained, and not too far away from many things to do in Franschhoek! Directions/instructions on how to get there (what the actual address is) could be improved, as we originally tried to check in to the apartments near Motherdough. Additionally, there was a very off-putting smell coming from under the kitchen sink that we could not find a source for. Overall, a good stay."

"A great place to stay with lots of space and thoughtful touches. A lovely welcome from Joanna when we arrived. There is a very good restaurant that often has musicians playing nearby, the Courtyard. Great to have secure parking. The place does need a little TLC but all very doable. Also the smell of the jasmine in the garden was beautiful "

"Dieses Haus ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Bilder an den Wänden sind kleine Kunstwerke, total süß. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist vor dem Haus auf den Bänken. Dort kann man total abschalten. In den wunderschönen Vorgarten zu schauen und die Abendsonne zu genießen ist himmlisch. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. "Great cottage, everything you need for a relaxing stay, had issues with loadshedding getting hot water, but this was not the fault of the guesthouse, they made arrangements for us to use another bathroom in the main house. Excellent hosts, checking we was ok, such a friendly place to stay, we will be back, we loved it for a weekend away. Thank you "
