Well it was only £30 including breakfast
Guy who booked me in was friendly and patient.
Room was tired and in need of decoration.
Ensuite was miniscule and a bit mouldy.
Way too close to a main road - will keep you up if you are a light sleeper!
Didn't have breakfast (as not my thing) so cannot rate that.
BUT it was only £30 and was close to where I needed to be the next day.
Dirty Disgusting, Unclean, Unsafe, no hot water, shower but a trickle, carpets stained. Would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely people, great place to stay
The Hotel is undergoing some hefty renovations which I'm sure will look fantastic once fully complete.
The restaurant has a new Smokehouse menu which started the day after we left, but the options looked very tempting.
You may find a hotel that has a better carpet, but you won't find a hotel with a better manager or staff. Everyone from the owner to the breakfast chef were genuinely lovely friendly people
Decent quality place in the centre of Worcester for a very fair price. The rooms have a nice climate and there is a cosy pub downstairs if one is need of grabbing a beer.
Appreciate it's an old building - costly to maintain. However, basic cleaning was poor. Internet hardly worked and no heating in the room (Mid Oct). I had to run the shower on red hot for 3 hours to warm the room up with steam. :) - I'm fairly relaxed about conditions but this was beyond my acceptance levels so won't be returning.

Good location of hotel, next to river Severn. Didn't mind traffic very close by. Partly sound proof windows.
Good range of pubs, for example King Charles House, originating from 1577! Very old-fashioned and nice!
Other beautiful old buildings, too.
The location is good and the staff are friendly. The bed was comfy but it does need some money spent on it - the shower had seen better days and the door to my room was very tempramental. Ok for 1 night stay.

Good price
Worth the money. Friendly staff.
Ideal for people working away that want a cheap and cheerful stay lol
Old building, in need a bit of TLC. Staff nice and friendly. Fine for a quick one night stop over if out on the beer but maybe not the best place to stop for a week's summer holiday.

Die Einrichtung war alt , z.T. defekt , und z.T. schmutzig.
This hotel is a state, the windows are rotten and drafty, wallpapers peeling off the walls and it rained on us while we were sitting in the Bar !!! There can be no excuse for serving breakfast on chipped plates also, that is a real hygiene issue. The staff were friendly though and the room was clean, with a comfy bed . I felt it was over priced as the place is such a State. It could be really nice with some money spent on it that it urgently needs or reduce what they charge for it and you can accept its gonna be a bit of a sh*thole.

Convenient for bus station and railway station. Good cooked breakfast.
The hotel was tired, dirty and above a pub. The pictures look much better than the reality. I was kept up half the night by the noise from people next door through the paper thin walls. When I moved the bed away from the wall, the headboard was not fixed, the carpet was filthy and the bathroom had broken tiles with loose pieces. The breakfast was very basic. Not a grate experience.
Was pleased with my weekend at the Severn View Hotel. Quite an odd but endearing old building at reasonable price. The plumbing system was a bit rowdy. The hotel is by a busy road, but the view I had from the window over The Severn was grand, especially first thing in the morning and at sunset. The bar was busy but not to the extent that there was a noise problem at night- though being on the second floor helped. Wi-fi, TV ( with many channels & radio stations) , and own toilet and shower room included.,The staff were helpful, the breakfast was more than adequate. And being so near the city centre was marvellous. In fact I have booked another weekend there in two months time.
Exactly what you expect from a little B&B staff were helpful as I was new to the area rooms are very homely although admittedly could do with a bit of a refurb but they were clean and fully functional so perfect for me.

Older dated hotel, but clean and cheap
I was worried after reading the high number of negative reviews, but for what we paid, it was fine. Yes, the hotel is old and a little dated, yes the window frames need some TLC, and yes the finish of the room was a bit DIY in quite a few places, but the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and you even get a full English breakfast for your money. If you're happy to pay low prices, then you have to expect that things wont be perfect. The only real problem for us was the shower, it literally trickled out. But we just had baths instead! The chap on reception was friendly and helpful, which goes a long way. All in all, for a one or two night stay its fine.

Fine if you're happy with just a place to rest your head for the night. Room was fine but bathroom drain was very smelly. No frills but fine, lovely view from our room to the river
Although the bed had clean sheets (the least one should expect), the rest of the room and bathroom were terrible. All the furniture was damaged; cup rings, stains and missing handles, and the bathroom was covered with mould and lime scale stains! Window frames were rotten and dangerous.
If this is the standard of the hotels on this site we will not be using it again!
