"The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and...

It was spacious enough for relaxation and privacy, making it a perfect spot for my family. The quiet and peaceful area allowed us to spend some quality downtime together. Johnson's small-town atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly local shops and cafes. We would definitely consider staying there again for a calm and peaceful vacation."

The best part was definitely the river just outside - it was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the water flowing by. "The property was conveniently located between Stowe and Waterbury. Upon arrival at address, unit was difficult to locate-not sure what door to enter. However condo was beautiful - well furnished and clean with a lovely view. The parking along a busy highway was a challenge but the highway noise was not a problem."

"The location was awesome, very central. There’s a lingering smell in the appartement (maybe the food grinder?) and a faucet that does not work in one of the bathrooms."
