"This is an attractive and traditional accommodation, with the added touches of delicious home made(and grown) food by Marianne, the host. Although a mile or two outside Barnstaple, the scenic road to town takes only 12 minutes to travel, through rolling green hills. I didn't see any local buses go by. As there are few restaurants nearby, and Marianne doesn't provide evening meals, you may need to eat, say, in town."
