Old Plough Field. View to the Oak Beds wood and shed. Our last curlew's nest was in here. The birds convinced us it was in a neighbouring field, which was then strictly protected, and we ran over the hidden nest in here. They can be too clever for their own good.

The wood, New House Farm There is no farm at New House anymore - it is an upmarket housing development now. This was their land, and this was a few acres of woodland on steep slopes corresponding to Court Farm's (that's all but gone too) Oak Beds. The wood was felled in the 1970's and replanted along with many other corners of the farm by its very conservation minded owner at the time. The land has changed hands, but the maturing woods remain. The field in the foreground is being grazed by sheep (off shot).
Log jam, Barrett's Mill Tree trunks piled against an island in the Teme. Some of the debris from flooding during the Summer of 2007.
Over wintering sheep Hill sheep spending the Winter in softer climes. Sheep are often moved from the hills of Wales to low lying farms for the winter.
