"My family and I loved this house and the nature surrounding it! Beds were comfy (including the pull out sofa beds, and I’m a harsh critic). Everything was clean and well stocked, loved the cornhole and horseshoes and all of the outdoor deck space! The pond was a bit of a dud and so buggy that the area around it was pretty much unusable, but that was okay. "Modern cabin with all the amenities located on a hill overlooking rolling hills and the river. Wide front porch with rocking chairs to sit and admire the views. Very quiet. Owner was very communicative and available to answer questions. This is the perfect VA getaway. 1.5 hours to Dulles, 30 mins to Middleburg, surrounded by farms and country roads. Highly recommend."

"We needed a place close to the hiking trail we were going to do that could sleep our whole group, and this was close. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to wild fires a couple nights before our stay. Because of the late notice, we couldn't cancel our stay. We had to drive an hour and a half the next morning to get to another trail where we camped, but this cabin was large enough to accommodate our church group, we just couldn't enjoy our stay as long as we had hoped. "Property was clean. The house had something for everyone. Ping Pong and Cornhole were a hit with the teenagers. The adults enjoyed the deck and watching the sunsets. The welcome sign and snacks were a wonderful touch. The road to the house was rough and steep. I would recommend 4 wheel drive."
