A Broadway music director purchased this Woodstock home in 2015, and since then it's become the favorite getaway for many of Broadway's finest. Now open to the public!

This warm, rustic, and welcoming home, designed by a visual artist, is the perfect vacation and weekend getaway. With its sprawling windows, the elevated house seats you in the heart of spectacular forest serenity and views which can be enjoyed from every room in the house while being just walking distance from town.

The chef’s kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook, and just as inviting for those who prefer to order food from one of the fine restaurants in town. Enjoy entertaining in the indoor dining room or on the huge back deck, which provides the perfect setting for barbecuing, dining, reading, and peaceful star-gazing.

The house sleeps up to 8 and offers 3 master bedrooms, all with private en suite bathrooms, perfect for 3 couples to share or a family. Watch cable TV or a movie on the flat screen TV in the upstairs living room, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the spacious downstairs music room/ living room where there is a grand piano and other musical instruments, various board games, and another large flat screen TV (both with Netflix and Cable).

Just a 20 minute tree-lined walk or 3 minute drive to the center of the beautiful village of Woodstock with its fine restaurants and arts, and from ‘Big Deep’ - where swimming in the natural waters is at its best.

Under 2 hours from NYC, completely private and secluded by trees yet a stone's throw again from town, this home is perfect for those looking for a getaway from the city or for the artist wanting to create. Located on Plochmann Lane, custom-designed by a local architect and just down the road from the famous Levon Helm Studio, this spot is Woodstock at its absolute finest.

Beautiful house! Great location! The house overall exceeded our expectations! A bit bright in the mornings, good to know in case you are looking to try and sleep in. King bed in the master is super comfortable and the shower is awesome! Would definitely stay again.

Great place

The house was clean, spacious and in a great location, close to town but also quiet. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here next time you’re in Woodstock.

Wonderful Place

This rental was exactly as advertised, incredible rustic charm. The Owner was responsive, prompt, and accommodating - a delight to work with. A short drive to town, and a quick walk to the Levon Helm Studios. Our stay could not have been better - even the weather was great!

Excellent location

A very spacious and tidy home with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Check in process was very easy. The location is half a mile away from the main Woodstock town strip full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Would definitely book again!

Spacious house on lovely property near everything

Loved our stay in this very roomy and comfortable home about 3 min drive from the town of Woodstock and close to great hiking and other ulster county attractions. Host was very accommodating with our arrival plans. Great deck with giant outdoor lawn area and light-filled living space. The house had a few quirky attributes ( one bathroom had unusual shower head placement and a few kitchen outlets we could not get to work) but nothing that impeded a wonderful stay! Would 100% return and really hope to do so soon!

Fantastic stay!

My friends and I had a wonderful visit. The property is lovely, and the house is large, beautifully appointed and comfortable. You can tell how much care and thought went into designing the space. Both the owner and property manager were responsive and friendly, check in and out was easy. We'd definitely stay here again!! it was a delightful stay.

Amazing house

We loved the house. The owner was so attentive and got back to me immediately when I had a question. The pictures did not give justice to the actual house. It was so spacious and bright from the many windows in the open concept living area. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful get away

Stayed with family and friends. Loved the large open design of the house. Also loved that the bedrooms all had their each bathroom it was like we all had a hotel room of our own. I would love to come back in the summer. Our whole gang loved the house. Lastly the downstairs area is great if you are traveling with children.

Surrounded By Nature

We 3 friends were spending a weekend in the Catskills and attending the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. We were awestruck at the beautiful setting for this property. Windows nearly surround the house and you can watch the deer and other wildlife as you drink your morning coffee. The house is well appointed and furnishings are very comfy. There's a music room some might really enjoy and lots of diversions in case you happen to get stuck inside. We had great weather and had a blast exploring the town and surrounding area. The price to rent is very reasonable, much better than a hotel. We hope to stay again next year.

A Serene Retreat

A beautiful, spacious home, perfect for a stay with family and friends. It is very well situated, close to town and area attractions, yet remarkably quiet and secluded, with a lovely deck for relaxing in nature. The owner is very responsive and attentive. Looking forward to returning!

Everything about our stay was easy and felt just right. We walked in and instantly felt like it was our home-everything is comfortable, accessible. Beautiful giant plants and big couches-as a special request in February, the grill was ready and waiting for us. Having a piano to play was an added bonus. It's private and quiet and the setting is beautiful-we can't wait to go back!

Woodstock college reunion

The house is expansive and in a beautiful location. There were a couple of issues but the owner communicated well and problems were resolved. A few things could be updated but we did enjoy our time there.

Wonderful House

My family really enjoyed staying at this awesome house. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A real bonus was the musical instruments that were available to play. Created a lot of family fun. The location was perfect. Many trails in the Catskills were in close proximity. The business district of Woodstock was also close. This is definitely a house we would rent again.

Ideal Location and Home

What a fabulous time we had in the spacious, welcoming home. Our family of four (two young adult children) had ample room to spread out, and also warm and welcoming spaces to gather. Super close to town, but with a remote and private feel. We explored Woodstock, spent a day skiing, visited the Roosevelt Presidential Library, and walked in the woods around the home. Everything from renting and check-in, through check-out, was super easy. Would happily stay here again, and could comfortably bring extended family / friends.
