"The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay...

"We were stopping at the Lock overnight following a funeral. Reception for check in is in the pub/restaurant (obviously a cost saving exercise). Room was clean and comfortable, no tea/coffee on the drinks tray but to be honest we were so tired we weren’t having one. Comfy bed, room warm enough and minimal noise from guests in other rooms. "

Room great quality, lots of drink options including extra bottled water, and a very comfy bed and large TV. "We came for 4 days to go to Download festival and it was perfect. The staff are all lovely.. especially Emma! Always helpful, even leaving out cardboard for our extremely muddy boots. The walk along the canal is beautiful too. Highly recommend this place."

"Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day...
