"Great location, opposite lagoon, walk along the boardwalk to the ocean. True to advertising. Really enjoyed our time. Only things to be aware of that the veranda doesn't have a banister and there isn't any front fencing. The backyard is fully fenced and secure, however the front and rear doors do not open directly into yard, only an issue if you have a pet. A couple of issues with cleaning, the oven and the BBQ weren't clean. The vacuum cleaner was held together with duct tape which fell apart....

"Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. A few cloths for cleaning surfaces would also help- we prefer to keep the place clean but usually simple cleaning materials are provided. Also, the TVs are really...

"Far away from the usual maddening crowds. Rich in natural wonderment it’s easy for all of us to ditch the devices and emmerse ourselves in the stunning pristine surrounds. Cabin 11 is was spotlessly clean and very nifty. 2 adults and 1 child fit well. Adult double bed was just to small, husbands legs were over the end and we woke up cramped and stiff. "We stayed at Womboyn Lake Resort to walk sections of the Light-to-light Walk in Ben Boyd National Park. As soon as Peter knew this, he offered to ferry us to the start and end-points of each section to allow us to walk the track as a one-way walk. It's around 30 minutes by car each way over rough NP roads to the walk start/end points, so this wasn't a 5 minute exercise, but Peter was happy to oblige - and I had to force him to accept something for his time and petrol.
