"This is the second time in 2 years that we have stayed here, it is so central to the vineyards whilst also being off the main roads of Cessnock, the hosts accommodate people travelling with their dog, the house is well set up, there is a lovely outdoor area, safe yard for dog with a safe indoor area for a dog to stay in also, we enjoy it here and will return again next year!"

"If there was a sign at the front that would have helped. Also we didn't get any body wash which was a little bit annoying. There were also some tiles in both bathrooms that needed fixing as well as the showerhead in the main shower. Other than that we loved our stay at Silky Oak Cottage, many thanks"

"RidgeView is in a very quiet location, surrounded by bush and vineyards. This is the perfect place to escape the business of life and relax among the trees with a glass of wine. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which surprisingly was a decent size."

"Would definitely recommend Lonely Goat Olives for a farm stay experience in the Hunter Valley. We had a fantastic time soaking in the views, catching fish and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Kids didn't want to leave."

"Good little property that is tucked away behind the vineyards in the Hunter with friendly horses on the property. They did not look like Clydesdales though. Good out door area for dogs to run and play and enclosed indoor dining area as shelter from the rain. The decor and property was a bit dated and lacked enough kitchen ware for the number of guests we booked for. If the property is updated a bit more, we would certainly return on a regular basis as the location suited our liking."

A tiny recommendation would be to upgrade tech like TV, get new movie titles, provide wifi and a basic welcome basket maybe. Other than that, the hosts were so easy to communicate with and helpful. "We unfortunately couldn't make it to stay, but the staff were happy for us to change the booking to our brother and his wife so that they could enjoy the wedding of thier Son and his new wife. The staff were so understand of our situation and couldn't be more happy for us to change the booking. "was nice place for family holiday. good nature with a lot kangaroo, nice view and adorable accommodation. my family and dog also enjoyed dinner with campfire. they have enough kitchen for cooking ourselves. we have feeling that comeback next year winter again. thank you"

The cottage was excellent and Dom has everything you need on hand for breakfast to the bread machine and a bottle of port to warm you up, he also has the log fire prepared for you to light when ready.
