"We needed just a one night stay with no frills, and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. For the low price, we did not expect much, but our room and bed were quite comfortable. The room and fixtures need updating, but the carpet looked fairly new and everything worked (save for a dead TV remote). As an older building, noise travels easily - but that is an issue with most hotels, and it was not much of an issue for us. Breakfast was basic, but good (breads were actually fresh). Also, pleasant staff. This hotel is a great value!"
