"We had a wonderful time during our stay! There were several nice touches like doggie supplies and materials for smores. We truly enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful scenery all around. The house was roomy and the beds were super comfortable. The only minor complaints would be the slight smell of cigarette smoke throughout the house and strange placement of the lighting and switches."

"Everything was very clean and the kitchen was amazing. There were multiple spiders in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and crawling on a lot of the windows (outside) but we managed to avoid them. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the views of the lake were gorgeous."

"We had a wonderful stay! The location was close to Deep Creek Lake State Park and the property and neighborhood is very peaceful. Our host was super responsive, which is always appreciated. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing and was clean and hot - just the way you would want it! The cabin is family friendly and spacious enough for all of us to spread out. The covered porch is huge and perfect for hanging out all day long. It rained while we were there, but we stayed dry on the covered porch. Thank you for having our family!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. A group of girlfriends and I rented the home for a Girls Getaway and it was the perfect setting for a wonderful weekend.The location was perfect, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. We especially loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the fire pit out back. The kitchen was well stocked with, which made preparing meals easy.I do have a couple of suggestions that may make future guests stays even better. The outdoor lighting could use some attention. Several of the lights leading down to the dock were knocked over or not working, which made the path quite dark at night. We also noticed that several lights inside the home were either not working or had burnt out bulbs.Another suggestion would be to add a note to the listing or provide signage indicating that there are several areas throughout the home where the elevation changes with small steps. Several of us tripped on these steps and unfortunately one of our friends fell when coming from the bedroom hallway into the living room. A simple notification could help guests be more aware of these transitions.Other than those minor issues, we had a wonderful time and would rent Whispering Pines again and would recommend this property to others looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway."
