"This is a great place for us who wanted to explore the Bavaria. You can experience the country side of Kirchheim am Reis. We had the quiet basement apartment for us and it was very roomy. The property was a short drive to Nordlingen and Dinkelsbuhl which were the two towns we wanted to visit. We also took a stroll at the back walking/bike trail. The fields are gorgeous. "My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."
