The Murray Premises Hotel

"The Murray Premesis is a great hotel. Not our first stay. Very convenient in downtown St. John's. Building is very old and nostalgic but well maintained. Staff are great. Location is right near the waterfront. Clean. Nice rooms and amenities. Will go back again and again. Hot tub always a nice feature as well and breakfast is basic continental good as anywhere similar."

"Everything was perfect. The only recommendation I would have would be for the staff not to lock the deadbolt on the exterior side until after checkout. I kept thinking my card wasn't working until I figured out this was happening."

"There was only one thing that we didn't like about the property. No elevator. Yes it is an older space but it was pretty hard to get a 50 lb suitcase up stairs - with no assistance (as there are no bell person on site to give you a hand). Other than that it was a comfortable room, hot water, restaurant and bar on site, didn't have to go far for dinner. (which was amazing). Love the character of the older building and have already recommended it to other folx."
