"Room was mostly clean, floors had been quickly cleaned. Bed was pretty comfortable, but on a squeaky metal frame that made noise when one of us moved in bed. We are not huge people, I’m 100lbs and my husband is about 200lbs. There was not a complimentary breakfast like described in hotel website, but they had a cafe that looked subpar and kind of pricey, highly recommend The Riv Cafe. We did have dinner at The Portage Grill on site. We really enjoyed our meals, the restaurant was busy but staff was attentive. Our room was quiet, overall comfortable, I liked the set up of the hotel. I’d stay here again."

"Excellent stay. Spa was the perfect place to relax after a long day’s travel! Clean and charming. Room was small but we already knew that. The bed was comfy and location was great. Found a spot to park on the street with ease."

"For a basic roadside motel this property is excellent - clean, good bed, good pillows, very well maintained by husband/wife owner-operators. Sound proofing better than expected even with truckstop across the street. I have stayed multiple times and will stay again."
