"The historic character and ambiance was charming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the bistro. We did not stay in the main building but in a very small room at the back of the inn. The dated room did not have WIFI or a TV but it was clean, the shower was good and the room was quiet. Definitely needs new mattresses as you could feel the springs. All in all a good place for a short stay."

"Excellent stay. Our check in was very fast and the staff member was so friendly and efficient. The room was clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable and the updated bathroom was nice too. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities were also provided. The hotel was quiet yet still conveniently located. Highly recommend!!"
