"This is an older hotel that could use some upgrades but a good choice for the night while traveling. The town is very small so food options are limited but there is a grocery store right next door and a Pizza Hut within walking distance. I noticed coffee and cereal in the lobby and a fridge with sodas. It is quiet and easy to get to. The office staff was friendly and helpful and I would stay here again."

"The room had cockroaches ,and mice in it. I know things happen ,but when mentioned to the staff they offered zero help and seemed more annoyed than anything. The hallway smelled like pee as well. Given the latter it’s the better of the two in the area ,but I’d travel further than stay here again."

"We stayed here for our son’s fishing tournament at Dale Hollow Lake and we are already making plans to rebook the house this summer so we can enjoy the creek and all the outside activities this house offers. It was so clean and well stocked. Wouldn’t change a thing. Whoever dreamed up this house has the gift of creativity and enjoys entertaining anyone who shows up. "This property was exactly what we were looking for! We are a multi generational family who got together for Thanksgiving and this was a perfect fit for great grandparents to a baby. We started each day for a walk, went on hikes during the day, played games and watched movies. It was a great space to spend time with each other but to also give space for when the college student needed to do some work or the baby needed to sleep. The living room view through the big windows was to die for and was our favorite! "
