"We travel to and from Denmark and stay here to facilitate use of the Gluckstadt ferry. The welcome is excellent and the restaurant superb. The continental breakfast is extensive and tasty and a pot of coffee is provided. There are a number of sister hotels too. All in all not one to miss. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed."

"Nice and renovated hotel in the town of Wedel. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. So it's the train station that takes you to Hamburg within 30 minutes. Staff were efficient and friendly. Very good breakfast."

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."
