"The mill hotel is in an excellent location just a short walk from the city centre. The room was lovely could do with better pillows but otherwise slept really well. Breakfast was really nice. Overall the staff were all brilliant and always helpful. Definitely a five star rating from us."

"Genuinely I had a great time . The place was beautiful, clean , had great food , most staff were friendly and efficient and it was located perfectly for me invite centre of Liverpool. However a couple of things spoilt my stay there . I asked for my laundry to be done on a Friday evening the day before and the evening before they stop doing the laundry which is the weekend. They didn’t tell me that so they came up and took my clothes and when I rang up about when I can receive my laundry about 24 hrs laterthey said they don’t do laundry at the weekends, so they came up to my room and gave me the clothes in the same dirty condition they were when they collected them . I should looked into it more before calling them , but they should have notified me when collecting them the evening before the day they stop doing it. Second problem I had was a night waiter who gave me my room service was rude to me because he thought that I had to pay for my room service straight away and I had been putting any stuff I purchased on room and just signing for it , but when I told him that he responded angrily and abruptly I WAS TOLD YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW! which is totally unacceptable in a hotel of this quality. If I leave those two incidents aside I’d highly recommend it as its luxurious and Most staff are friendly and efficient. Ross"

School Lane Hotel in Liverpool ONE

"Think this is my 4th or 5th short stay at School Lane over the last 4 years. Love it's central easy to get to location. The amenities are just what I need - a clean comfortable bed, a decent shower and lovely pastries with hot drinks for breakfast. Staff are always attentive and friendly and rooms spacious & clean. Look forward to another return visit in the future."
