"This property has had a bad reputation in the past, but it has now been renovated. The king bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean but sloppy caulking in the bathroom makes the floor around the toilet look dirty but it is not dirty. The shower was fine with a good shower head and hot water. It was a very hot, humid day and night, but the air conditioning kept us cool. The person checking us in was friendly and helpful. There is nothing fancy about this place but it met our needs adequately."

"Property was clean and as pictured. Hosts were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was functional. I did expect the “entire house” listing on Vrbo to actually be just myself and my family in the house, but it is a house divided into two apartments so there may be other neighbors/guests during your visit. The other side/guests have their own separate entry. The neighbors did not interfere with my stay, it just wasn’t expected. It was a nice stay overall and I would recommend it! "

"What a great little place to just relax. Easy check-in and out. We met the property owners who were friendly and hospitable. We were able to relax for a couple of days without the hustle and bustle of the “popular spots” over a holiday weekend. Thank you for sharing Tranquil Villa!!"

"The property was filthy! The carpets were stained there was foreclosure as well as abandoned/vacant property tag the washer had stagnant water in it where there was an awful Oder when try to crime on water went everywhere. Trash all outside the house and under carport. Lawn had not been maintained could not go outside in backyards room had trash from previous tenants also showers backed up when contacting the host response either was delayed or issue never addressed once we told them about washer and they said would look into hours passed we saw sticker on back door we left we did not even stay whole stay. There was only one TV it did not work no linens or towels "

"This sweet retreat is in a little neighborhood near Edenton. We spent a couple of days there and driving time to Edenton Historic district, Elizabeth City and Merchant’s Mill Pond make this a great location. In the evenings…..very quiet. We saw ducks, bald eagles and herons from the back porch….and the sunsets were fabulous."

"The home was so lovely and comfortable. My only issue was a huge cockroach the ran across the kitchen counter. Scared me to death and I was afraid it would get in our snack food. Everything else was wonderful. "
